Sweet Friday

Happy Friday!  In honor of Shawn's birthday week as well as Father's Day, our little tribe
will be heading out on an adventure for the next few days.  Nothing extravagant, just
quality family time, good food, and a few surprises along the open highway.  We
are completely unplugging, a dream come true for my anti-technology husband.  I must
say that I am excited to just LIVE for the next few days: no work, minimal phone time,
no computer.  Just my family and the beauty of the great outdoors.  In my
absence, SoulSingingLiv will be taken over by some pretty amazing guests!  Some of
my favorite ladies from around the blogosphere have so graciously agreed to share
their thoughts with you while I am gone.  I am so excited to have them here and hope
that you find as much inspiration in them as I do!
Before I go, I thought that I would share a list of some of my favorite posts from this
week.  I learn so many wonderful things from all of you!

  • Ashley from Ashley...plus three posted this recipe for an amazing looking salsa, perfect for these hot summer nights out on the patio.  Can't wait to try this!
  • Cam from Campfire Chic posted these awesome tips titled "How to Deal With a Blogging Rut", wonderful ideas for staying organized and inspired and keep the whole blogging experience new and exciting.
  • Have you ever read Deanna from Delirious Rhapsody's feature "Gage Says"?  If not, head over there immediately to literally laugh out loud at all the adorable and hilarious things her sweet boy said this week.  This has quickly become one of my favorite features lately, from the mouths of babes...
  • This video of Jhen at From Here to Eternity and her family singing together really pulled at my heart strings.  This is the kind of thing my family and I do often and I just love the bond music creates.
  • Maryam from Pamplemousse 1983 always has the best art tutorials.  I want to try this project with Isabelle.  Maryam's little baby girl will be here any day now, soon she will have lots of new inspiration!
  • The lovely Lindsay from Scenic Glory just opened up her highly anticipated shop, the Scenic Glory Shop, filled with the most beautiful pieces of jewelry and graphic prints!  I can't even decide what to buy, there are just too many gorgeous, one of a kind pieces!!  So happy for her and in awe of her amazing talent!
  • Chaundra from The Earthfood Experiment has become my daily go-to blog for all things delicious goodness.  She posts the most amazing recipes and my family is very thankful that she and I have connected as they have gotten to eat some pretty fantastic things lately, all thanks to her mad skills!  This week she featured recipes that need only three ingredients each, my kind of project!
  • We just got a pretty little package in the mail from Sarah over at Forgiven.Love Much.  She has the sweetest little Etsy shop called Spancy Ketosherosh filled with the most lovely vintage and hand made goods.  Brees is LOVING her new seer sucker dress from this adorable shop!  Thank you, Sarah!
Have a wonderful weekend and I will be seeing you soon...
