This Saturday we stepped out to Isabelle's dance recital! Since our little ballerina had
to head to the theater super early to primp and prep and Shawn is still very
hesitant to participate in our blog fashion shenanigans, this weekend's S.O.S is just the
little lamb and I.

Apparently our horse lab puppy, Ozzy, thought we looked a little lonely so he decided
to join us for a few shots. Yes, I said PUPPY. He is still not full grown, believe it or not.
But, don't worry: he is very gentle, sweet, and well trained. He may look like he is
trying to eat my baby, but he's only giving her little puppy kisses. I swear.

I wear a lot of skirts and blouses now, it's just easier with breastfeeding. This skirt is
one of my most prized possessions. I purchased it in New Orleans many, many years ago
at a flea market downtown. It is made of a thick linen but is still very cool and moves
easy. The color is amazing and I don't think I will ever grow tired of it. Brees's dress
is a hand me down from Isabelle. I bought it at an antique store in my hometown
when Isabelle was only a few weeks old. I am so sentimental about clothing, I hold
onto things forever.

She of course proceeded to vomit all over her pretty dress immediately after this
photo was taken, but at least I have this memory of her in this lovely blue number. I
can not tell you how many times we are walking out the door, only to turn right back
