As the school year draws to a close, our calendar is beginning to fill. Weddings
and graduations, first communions and confirmations, award banquets and dance
recitals. Cousins and friends celebrating a school year full of accomplishments and
accolades. I love this time of year, gathering to celebrate the ones I love. On Friday
night, we helped my little baby cousin get ready for her junior prom. She was a beautiful
ball of excitement and nerves, anxiously applying her make-up, hair up in curls, her
glittery formal gown hanging in all its splendor. We giggled and beamed as her date
arrived with his mom in tow, flashbulbs blinking as we all took photos and bid them
farewell. As I helped her put her silver heels on, I couldn't help but think of how
quickly time flies. It seems like just yesterday when I was babysitting this little girl,
riding bikes and playing in the mud, helping her with homework and showing her how
to bake brownies. She's all grown up now, a beautiful young lady, and I have my own
little girls to raise. Little girls who will someday be old enough to go to prom and wear
lily corsages. These moments, they really are so precious.

Such a sweet time for all! These moments are blessings to be enjoyed fully.
She looked beautiful and I am sure her night was one she'll remember always.
Have a lovely day Olivia and thank you for sharing these special moments with us, it's always a pleasure to read you. Much love to all. xx
She looks gorgeous! My youngest cousin just went to her prom too, I honestly can't believe it.
How sweet! She looks beautiful! :)
She looks beautiful!! You two look a lot alike!
Thank you! You just made my day! No one ever tells me I look like anyone on my mom's side of the family, I'm the only person on that whole side with black hair and dark eyes. Looking at our photos, I'm the odd bird amid a sea of blondes!
Thank you! She is beautiful inside and out!
Time goes by so fast! I was just changing her diapers like a month ago!!
They really are, Marie. Such precious times!
