Recovering

On Friday night, we hosted 9 of Isabelle's best friends and classmates at our house for
a birthday slumber party extravaganza like no other.  Needless to say, we are pretty
tired and have spent the remainder of our weekend lounging around the house, cleaning
up the aftermath and relaxing in the backyard.  We didn't step out anywhere, instead
treating ourselves to some take out for dinner which we enjoyed on the back porch in
our pajamas.  The party was a huge success and I can't wait to share all of the special
details with you.  Until then, I'm off to steal another nap and nurse my eight year old
girl giggle fest induced headache.

I just commented you about that, HA!  We did the pillow cases and it was a huge success, super easy because they basically took control and did it themselves:)  Thank you for the awesome suggestion!

Not much sleep was had, my friend.  It's pretty much taken us the whole weekend to recover!

Slumber party birthdays are the BEST! Seriously, some of my favourite childhood memories are from them. I'm sure Belle had an amazing time and will have those memories with her forever :)

I feel the same way!!  I used to LOVE having sleepovers and was so excited to be able to throw one for my daughter.  Good times indeed!
